This is a skin lightening cream with three bleaching ingredients to help fade dark, discolored patches of skin, especially those due to melasma. It can also be used to fade brown scars from acne and to remove age spots on the hands, chest and legs. Tri-Luma® contains fluocinolone acetonide 0.01%, hydroquinone 4% and tretinoin 0.05%. Tri-Luma® should be applied once daily at bedtime. Exposure to sunlight, sunlamps or UV light and extreme heat, cold or wind should be minimized.
