This is a gadget for people who like technology.   Yes, its cool, but it doesn’t add anything that Dr. Klein can’t already tell you from a full skin exam.

It’s available at our office.  You can see sun damage better for yourself with the special light.  We charge $25 for the service, which takes about a half an hour and provides a written report, pictures and comparison to people of the same age.

All of the medical spas use it as their “free skin analysis” to draw people in.  Unfortunately, this device is being used in the “dumbing down” of dermatology, now being seen in medical spas. 

Interesting was that all of our patients and staff we used it on scored in the top 10%  percentile compared to people their same age; so it doesn’t “sell” anti-aging procedures for us like their marketing states.  Our people look too good.
